At Life's End

It hadn’t even been six hours since the virus broke out and already the world was in mass panic. Countries had closed their borders, stopped all ferry and plane travel and even resorted to shooting those who dared to cross over. Newscasts told people to stay in their houses and bar their doors and windows though this did little to quell the fear in everybody’s hearts. Riots had broken out everywhere. People attacked each other in the streets out of fear of the infected, which were drawn to the noise that the masses made.

It was in a mall of one such city; a normal, everyday city that, if this was any normal day would be bustling with life, people going about their daily business, be that work, shopping or leisure. But this wasn’t one of those days. This was the day of reckoning, a day that humanity would finally reach its end.

This mall was fairly nondescript as far as malls go. Though one thing to note was the size, it spanned an area to be declared a minor city in its own right. As with everywhere else riots had broken out. People were attacking each other and looting shops, children were left unattended as their parents lost all sense of their humanity. One such woman, quite plain in appearance; a brunette with shoulder-length hair, her bangs coming to a stop just above her eyebrows. She stood at about 5’ 7” with a fairly slender frame, although her hips and bust were quite developed for her build, about a Double D-cup she looked as if she’d bust out of her tight white shirt. Her miniskirt didn’t do her modesty any justice as she darted around the panicked masses, exposing her plain white panties, and if she had any sense she would’ve abandoned her backpack long ago, as it was she kept getting caught on objects protruding out every-so-often. Her name was Samantha Alison, and today she was meant to meet up with several friends to work on their university project. Unfortunately for her the undead outbreak put an end to her plans and her friends.
