Compound BM-b0

Prof. Katie Gola was an average looking woman, average height, average build, average everything, she was a brunette white woman with black rimmed glasses and the only thing that made her stand out at all was her field of study, mutagenics. Right now she was dug into a particularly interesting new compound that had been isolated originally as an extract from a flower found in Greece. It had been used as an aphrodisiac by people in the ancient world until he flower went extinct from over use during the time of the Romen Empire. There were all kinds of ancient stories and legends including some linking it to the legend of the Minotaur. These were almost certainly exaggerated, or so Kate had thought when she began to study it.

She had been given a sample of a powder made from the flower, found in an Egyptian tomb by a colleague, and had managed to isolate an interesting compound. After very careful study she had found a way to reproduce and concentrate the chemical. Her experiments with mice had shown that in small doses it would cause mutations within the subjects body, leading to increased fertility and sex drive. That was over a year ago, now, she had produced, what she called compound BM-b0, it was about five thousand times more concentrated than the chemical found in the raw flower that ancient peoples had used. She had seen what it had done to mice, and it left her licking her lips as she wondered what it would do to humans. Katie never considered herself a mad scientist and she knew what she was about to do was madness, but she couldn’t bare to wait and go through the years, if not decades, to get this approved the normal way while she watched other benefits from it.

Just a tiny dose would do to start she had turned it into a liquid she could easily consume herself, or expose to another person, she had even put it in a perfume bottle to make it easy.
