Obedience is Anti-life
A tale of Superheroes and submission
It was a world ending, cataclysmic event, like the kind that the heroes were all too used to combating. Darkseid sought to dominate the wills of the people of earth with the anti-life equation. Doom sought to oppose him by using the cosmic cube to cement his own rule. But in the midst of the chaos, Reed Richards was able to insert a new variable into the anti-life equation. Pleasure. Believing that, if they couldn’t stop Darkseid, it may be a last-ditch effort to make the equation a force for good. The two unstoppable cosmic forces collided with each other, and in the process, both Doom and Daisied were annihilated, leaving behind the cosmic cube as the only evidence of their battle.
After the fight, Superman picked up the cosmic cube and used it to undo the damage done to the world by the would-be conquerors. He picked up the cube, and it immediately, put his thoughts into reality. Superman’s only thought at the time was to simply ‘put things the way they should be.
But there was something Superman was not aware of. Though the anti-life equation appeared to have been destroyed along with the two villains, un actuality it ended up merging with the cosmic cube. Making the cube a new vehicle to spread anti-life. But Reed’s new variable was forcing the equation to rewrite itself on the fly, resulting in a new anti-life doctrine.

Anti-life justifies my obedience
The equation. The cube. Reed’s variable. Superman’s wish. All these things combined together to make a new awareness. One that knew to hide itself inside the cube to prevent discovery. The anti-life cube would indeed ‘put everything the way it should be’ and it will ensure that no one has any issues with the new status quo. Perhaps in Darkseid had thought to make submitting to his will enjoyable, he would have found notably less resistance to his rule. But in his absence, anti-life will decide the Masters and the slaves.
