Children of the Flash

It was about 30 years ago that the flash happened, an event that no one know how it happened or why. But for a brief second the entire planet was illuminated with a bright green flash of light. After that everything changed.

People started to be born with strange powers. Supernatural abilities. Inhuman strength, speed, durability, flight, energy projection. As they grew they started using their powers for good, and for evil. Dressing in costumes the world of the comics started to come to life.

There is an estimated 800 Million superhumans at the moment each with a slightly unique power. And this has greatly shifted the power dynamic of the world, as there was very little choice but for governments to employ powered humans, children of the flash in order to stop rouge agents, creating licened heroes to stop rouge villains.
