Introduction to the Dark Arts

Still reeling from the news, you make your way to the school library for your course in the Dark Arts. Far from forbidden, the academy encourages students to become well versed in the dark arts as many skills while potentially dangerous, have practical uses in a variety of Magic fields. The class is more of an independent study with an adviser available to answer any question you may have. Perfect for getting some alone time after such a revelation during orientation. You flip through a dusty old book with a black leather cover, quickly turning to the chapters that interest you the most. The book features spells as simple as dream invasions to more complicated sorcery such as memory tampering. You write down the three most simple spells available and try to focus on learning at least one of those today. The three simplest spells are:

Dream Invasion- By drawing a simple symbol on the palm of your hand and carving a matching symbol above the area where a person sleeps, you are able to invade the dreams of that individual at any point in which you are both asleep.

Temporary Paralysis - With a flick of the wrist you are able to cause an immediate but brief paralysis in another as they lose control of their body for five seconds.

Summon Basic - The ability to summon a creature from another realm. At this level you are only able to summon a small mischievous shadow creature the size of a hamster.
