Introduction 2

"Jessica. Jessica." a voice said.

"W-who is it?" I asked, surprised that I was so aware in the dream I was having.

"I have little time, so please do not talk," the voice, suddenly strong, and brisk, said.

"O... kay." I said.

"You have been chosen to enter an alternate universe. Only one in every 500 million people on this earth get chosen... in this universe, there is a planet the size of your own, except this planet does not have the technologies you have. Instead, there is magic, and monsters. There is also only a hundred million people living on this planet. However, it has been determined you will be suited to live in this universe more than living in your current one. Therefore, without telling you anything more, I will ask you, do you accept this fate?" said the voice.

I thought to myself. I had always thought I didn't belong. It would be reckless, and stupid, but I decided I would do it.

"Yes!" I said.

"Then when you awake, you shall wake in this alternate universe. Now, awaken!" the voice said.
