Introducing Lachlan

My name is Lachlan, and for most of my high school years, my life was a nightmare. Much of that misery was caused by someone named Jeremy. He was a year above me and, for reasons I never understood, seemed to make it his personal mission to bully and humiliate me at every opportunity.

The torment finally ended when Jeremy left school for good. I believed that would be the last I ever heard of him. I was wrong. Jeremy went straight from high school to working at his father’s restaurant —a detail that wouldn’t have mattered to me at all, if not for the fact that my mother also works there.
