Introduce yourself to the crew; it's not like you can get away.

After procrastinating for a few minutes, you decide theirs no point hiding and that you might as well just go and introduce yourself to the crew and find out what they're going to do with you. So, using your implant computer, you connect to the ship's public net, registering your comm key, then accessing the public information database to download the ship's public access internal navigation map. After loading the map into your implants navigation app, locate an area 700 metres deeper into the ship labelled the "crew lounge." Since the air duct you're currently in seems to follow the corridor, you decide to stay hidden for now as you make your way towards the crew lounge.

After about half an hour, you manage to make your way through the air ducts to an air vent inside the crew lounge. As you look down through the vent, you see four attractive men chatting at some kind of bar, including the hunky guard from the airlock. You wait another minute to work up your nerve before popping the vent open and dropping down into the crew lounge, saying, "Hi, guys, I'm Kat," waving shyly as they turn around startled. Going from left to right, first, there's the burly sandy-haired guy, then the hunky clean-shaven guard from the airlock; the next guy has a tall thin alethic build and electric blue hair, finally their the rugged dark-hair guy sitting to the right of the group.

The burly guy turns to the guard, asking him, "I thought you said she was 18? She's tiny. She can't be older than 15."

It takes all your willpower to glare at him defiantly, unwilling to show weakness in front of strangers, as you declare indignantly, "I am 18! I'm not some helpless child."

"Well, I guess we're not going to have to search for her," laughs the rugged guy, as he takes in your appearance, his expression shifts to one of concern, "Come over here, let us get a good look at you," he continues. Trembling, you cautiously approach, ready to flee at the first sign of danger, until you are standing in front of him. Then, you relax as he gently holds your chin, moving your head from side to side as he inspects your face, followed by a similar inspection of your arms and finally your legs. Then, the flash of anger in his eyes causes you to cringe back before he asks softly, "you poor thing, what happened to you?"

You stammer in response, "what do you mean?"

"You're covered in cuts and bruises. How did that happen? Why haven't they been treated?"

You look down at your arms, seeing some of the injuries he is referring to before replying confused, "I don't understand. This is normal. I have to defend my stash from other tunnel rats." Then, as you track his harsh gaze to your injured leg, you add, "Well, the leg was the demand security officer that caught me taking a blanket from the hotel laundry. But it's not that bad should heal in a weak or two; I've had worse."

He looks at you, unbelieving, "you've had worse, have you?" Then, as you look down at your leg, you realise it's started to bleed again, worse than it was earlier. Suddenly you start feeling light head and stumble toward him as he reaches out to catch you as you faint, cradling you in his arms like a child as he sweeps you up, right before the world fades out to black.
