"Hey, my name is Devin." you speak with hesitation and a lot of regret.

The girl takes a moment to register the information in her mind. You feel like you fucked up hard.

"Oh, hello!" She smiles and nods. "Name's Clara."

"Are you a close friend of Amelia?" You ask.

"Not really." She replies, before taking another look at her mobile phone. "I'm actually here because my boyfriend is a classmate of hers, and he asked me to come, but it's been an hour and he was supposed to meet me here."
