Introduce myself

There will be plenty of time for creativity later. There’s no sense starting off my first day by deceiving anyone. “My name is Jeremy Karley, and this is my first day here. I’m supposed to be at Studio A, but I guess I got turned around.”

“Oh wow. Another Karley! I heard there was a new boss,” says the guy, getting up and offering his hand. “I’m Cayden and this is Tess. We’re pretty new, too. We just started as fluffers.”

I am familiar with fluffers. Since porn films get shot in individual scenes, with changes in camera angles, etc. there are frequently delays at the most inconvenient times. Fluffers are on hand to make sure the male stars don’t lose their erections while the scene is being changed. Apparently there is quite an art to it, because the fluffer must keep the actor hard, without putting him over the edge and blowing his load. If that happens, there are all kinds of delays.

I learned about the fluffer’s job from Sally, who started as a fluffer but hoped to climb the ladder in the business. I met her during a studio Christmas party at our house a couple of years ago. I can attest to her skills at keeping a guy hard for quite a while. For all you know, she’d still be going at it on me if she hadn’t been interrrupted by the Secret Santa unveiling.

“I’ll probably get called to Studio A any minute,” says Tess. “I’d be happy to take you over there.”

Just then, Cayden’s phone buzzes. He looks at it and says, “For that matter, I’m needed over at Studio B. I can get you most of the way to A if you want to come with me.”

I’m not in any particular hurry, so I could hang out here with Tess for a bit and learn about her job, or I could go with Cayden.
