Into the temple

You stand in front of the huge front door, which is built into an ice wall, hiding the temple behind it. It was designed to be opened only by **** users.

Lana: It has been a long time... I haven't been to this place since I crafted my first lightsaber. It brings back so many memories... Drek caught a cold during the gathering! Ranvi brought in some extremely cold tolerant lichen, taken from Hoth, to have a few plants on the surface of this huge snowball. Maybe they are still alive inside! Let's take a look!

You take a deep breath from the cold air and use the **** to open the giant doors standing in front of you. The ice cracks off of them and they open slowly, tossing big piles of show to the sides of the path as they do. With the entrance now open, you go inside but do not close the doors behind yourself. This is the only way in and out, there's no point in locking yourself back in while you are there. You won't be staying there for a long now, will you?

? (while still watching you through binoculars): Impressive! I couldn't blast my way through those doors, yet she opened them so easily, like I open the door of the fridge! This might by more interesting than I originally expected! Let's follow her inside!

Behind the door you find yourself in the main hall of the temple, a great round shaped room, with statues of Jedi at the walls and a tall crystal holding pillar at the middle. There's only one way to go from that room, but the way is blocked by a thick pile of ice.

Lana (to herself): Everything is as it used to be last time! The ice is back at the way, the temple is still as abandoned as it ever was. Inside here the air is still, the aura of the place is calm, no noises disturb the silence, save for the whistling of the wind outside, my steps on the floor and my words echoing in the hall. A truly peaceful spot in these times of intergalactic war!

? (a female voice echoing in the air): You should destroy a few things to break this damned tranquillity!

Lana (drawing her pistols and turning around): Who's there?!

Lana (after no answer arrives): How did you get inside...? This place is only accessible by Jedi!

Lana (when she couldn't feel anybody's presence around): Ah, must have been my imagination then... But I could have sworn I heard something... Anyway, let's get that ice out of the way! Luckily, I have done this once, it'll be a piece of Sisk-cake! I just have to redirect some of the mirrors in the upper levels to concentrate the light through that crystal into the ice and melt it away.

Using the **** you turn the mirrors to the right angle, to alter the light's path, directly into the icy blockade.

Lana (watching the ice melt): Padawan's play! Oh, what's that on the floor? Isn't that?!

You find one of the lichen colonies brought onto the planet by Ranvi well over a decade ago. It seems they managed to survive and stay alive, however slow their spread may be, but it eventually worked.

Lana (to herself): Wow, none of us believed anything would survive here! Yet, Ranvi proved us wrong once again! Her little plants did survive here despite all odds! Stay strong little fellows, you may be the first of your kind, that might spread all over this show ball one day!

With the path now clear, you make your way towards the crystal cave to find a new crystal. Right after entering, you sense something strange... On one hand, you sense a powerful crystal calling to you... On the other hand, you sense some lifeforms down in the cave. But nothing should be alive down there...

Lana (to herself): How strange... Must be my mind playing games on me...

? (a female voice echoing in the air): Maybe it's more than just your mind, little Jedi!

Lana: That voice again?! Who are you?! What do you want is this sacred temple?!

Lana (after receiving no answer this time either): Ah, maybe I'm losing my mind... There couldn't possibly be anyone in this temple besides me!

You begin walking down the path to the cave, there are old statues of Jedi on both sides of the path, all holding their lightsabers out towards you in the middle. They give the situation a sort of sacredness. The further down you go below, the stronger the calling becomes. As the built walls fade away and only the rough cave walls remain, there are no further statues around. It's only you and the crystals now. They are glowing on the walls, shining with all sorts of colours, from yellow and green to blue and purple. Yet, none of these seem to be the one you are looking for, it's further down away in the cavern. Following the path into deeper and deeper caves, you arrive to a dead end all of a sudden.

Lana (placing her hands on the wall): What...? I clearly sense the crystal on the other side of this wall! Yet I'm certain there wasn't a way around this wall... If I can't go around it, I'll have to go through it! Luckily, neither Jereli, nor Master Yoda are here to see this!

You put some detonators onto the wall and get back further away from the explosion radius.

Lana (with her finger on the detonator): I hope this won't bring down the whole cave system onto my head! Yet, that would still be better than survive and explain it to the council... "Sorry masters, I destroyed the whole crystal cave system on Ilum, but look at the shiny stone I have just found in there!"... I'm not sure I would see daylight ever again after that! Okay, here goes nothing, let's get rid of that wall!

? (a female voice echoing in the air): Yes, do it! Blow up the wall! Destroy anything in your path!

Lana: You know, whoever or whatever you are, you truly are getting on my nerves about now...! How about just staying quiet and letting me be here?!

Pressing the button, the charges detonate and the wall crumbles down to your feet, with a powerful ground shake. Fortunately, the other walls managed to hold the rest of the weight now put onto them and the cave stayed intact. In front of you you spot a big crystal with a shining white light standing out of the wall. This is unlike anything you have seen so far. This is the one you have been looking for! You swiftly step next to it and try to pull it out, however, you have little success with it.

Lana (while pulling the crystal): Come on you damned thing, come out...!

No matter how hard you try, it's stuck. As a last resort you attempt to **** pull it out, but nothing happens. Without anything to lose, you try **** lightning to destroy the stone wall around it, but some of the lightning hits the crystal. Its shining light fades away, leaving a dead crystal for you.

Lana (quickly touching the crystal): Oh, no! No, no no no no no! Please, don't tell me I have just killed my crystal...! Come on, don't die on me now...!

Now it comes out easily, dropping into your hand, yet its light is still gone.

Lana: Oh blast it! I finally find a new crystal and kill it...! Is this for real...?! How could I be so unlucky?!

? (a female voice echoing in the air): You Jedi have always been good for nothings, this is just an other proof of that!

Lana: Okay, enough hide and seek, show yourself! I know you are there!

? (a female voice from behind you): Than turn around little Jedi!

Lana (pointing your blasters towards the origin of the voice): Who are you and what business do you have in such a sacred place like this?!

You see a **** apparition in front of you, in the form of a female with a red skin and long black hair. She looks like those pure blooded Sith species that went extinct many centuries ago, you have only seen them in holograms up until now.

?: And it's the Jedi that always preach about hospitality and kindness! My name is Darth Valare, I used to be a member of the Sith Empire long ago.

Lana: Valare...? I know that name, Ranvi has seen some of your memories when she touched your lightsaber back on Dathomir! What are you exactly and why have you appeared now all of a sudden?

Valare: Ahh, you know nothing about the ****, do you? When I crash landed on that forsaken rock, called Dathomir, my ship and HK unit were rendered malfunctioning due to the side effects of the landing and the thick mud we found ourselves in. As I was scouting the surroundings, I spotted a gigantic tree, which had a very strong dark side aura around it. It took moments to attack me as I closed in... I could fend off its attack for a few minutes, but realised my resistance was futile and I might be bested for good. As a last resort, I transformed part of my mind into my lightsabre to preserve as much of myself as possible, until somebody comes looking for me and allows me to transform myself into a new body. You can see the current status for yourself. I have seen my body being disgraced for an incomprehensible time, when that tree finally decided to allow it to rot in the mud for good. I am connected to my lightsaber, I can only appear in its vicinity, having nothing better to do on my own, but go mad, I sent myself into a dormant state. You were the one who interrupted that, by taking my sabre away. I would have appeared sooner, but the oppressing light side powers of the **** were too strong in the Jedi temple for my diminished **** powers. Here, finally I could talk to you personally.

Lana (putting away her blasters): Wow, okay... About me, my name is Lana O...

Valare (interrupting): I know all about you, there's no need for introductions, I have been watching you, but couldn't form a visible shape around my presence. You are a Jedi knight from Clan Ordo, you often use the dark side, you spend a lot of time on the holonet listening to music, which is by the way, way too terrible for my taste. You have too friends, one of which is a weakling human, who wouldn't have made it past the trials on Korriban, had he joined the Sith Academy instead. You often spend your time fantasizing about being robbed of your Jedi powers and made into a powerless personal **** of a non **** sensitive. Not to mention the rest! Those are quite bizarre fantasies if I may say! Not to mention you use your lightsaber's hilt to fuck yourself while thinking about those things! I have seen some bizarre fetishes in my life, trust me, never ever heard of a Jedi doing anything like you!

Lana (blushing): Hey, that's more than enough! Who allowed you to be an observer of my private life?!

Valare: You, when you have taken my sabre with yourself and left it in your room! Don't get me wrong, I like those spicy stuff, always makes my body tingle, when I see such a hot **** sensitive in similar situations!

Lana (blushing): Ouff, okay, couldn't we just talk about ANYTHING else than how I was...! You know...! "Doing stuff" in my free time?!

Valare: Oh, a little shy now, aren't we? You weren't so shy when...!

Lana: Enough! You haven't answered what you want from me.

Valare: Nothing in particular... I'm just trying to spend my material less days somehow. Probably going to have to stick to you it seems...

Lana (showing her the crystal): Great... I would have several questions for you, but first things first... Don't you happen to know how to bring this crystal back to life? And how to cut it to be smaller, since it won't fit into either of my hilts!

Valare: Well, as it happens, I might not know how to cut it, but I do know a way to put some life into it! There's an ancient Sith technique to turn a crystal back to life, but it requires something I don't think you have the time to do right now.

Lana: What do you mean?

Valare: Look behind your back!
