Into the mall

It was the more risky option, but at least it wouldn't result in him being trapped.

Slowly he pushed open the door, taking a cautious peek out into the mall. He'd at least come out beyond the food court, and he could see it's opening off to his left. On the right was his ticket to freedom. The huge front entrance to the mall, only about six shop lengths between him and freedom.

It was then that realisation hit him. He'd be free of the mall, sure, but then he'd be out in the wide open carpark completely naked. It was once again the risky path, but would get him closer to getting home.
