Into the forest.

The closer she got to the Ithaca, the better and the compass built into her PAGE told her cutting through the forest was the quickest path back to the ship. Odette made her way through the thick underbrush, her leggings were being shredded apart. She couldn't see anything but trees all around her, without her compass she could be lost in the forest indefinitely.

She found a bush covered in berries, and after testing samples using her PAGE, she determined they were safe for human consumption. She rested beneath the shade of a large tree, removed her boots to give her feet a break and ate berries by the handful. The berries were fat, juicy and full of sugar, she couldn't help but stuff her face with them after an exhausting trek through the woods. She didn't immediately notice that with every berry she ate, her eye lids grew heavier and heavier. Before long she was overcome with an unnatural need to sleep. The PAGE had cleared the berries as not being poisonous but in her exhaustion, Odette had failed to check them for any side effect they might have. They were clearly making her sleepy, she tried to get onto her feet and walk it off but immediately slid back down onto her bum. She rested her head against the tree and unable to fight it off any longer, drifted into slumber.

It was dark by the time she reopened her eyes. She felt groggy and when she attempted to wipe the drool from her mouth she discovered her hands were bound together in some kind of twine. Panicked she quickly shook off her grogginess and sat up taking in her surroundings. It was dark but she could tell she was inside some kind of wooden hut or shed. Her hands had been bound together and a rope around her left ankle was tied to a post she could see just outside a wooden jail cell like door. She ran up to the bars of the door and looked outside. She was still in the forest, it was nighttime but torch stands outside her cell illuminated the trees surrounding her. She didn't know who or what had brought her here but they hadn't taken anything from her. She still had her PAGE and belt full of supplies. She might be able to escape.
