Interrogation

Nazia had placed Alisha in the Interrogation and watched from outside as Alisha sat there, calm and confident. Nazia was feeling quite smug about herself for having placed Alisha, her long time rival, so called best detective on the other end - in the interrogation room to be interrogated and questioned by her - Nazia.

She entered the room slowly, while Alisha looked up, smiled and sat with her back relaxed against the chair. She did not show even the slightest bit of uneasiness, fear or tension while Nazia tensed up watching Alisha.

Alisha, herself a highly trained and proficient detective was a master of body language and mind games and it was now a battle of wits, mind and sharpness between the two women - one the current lead detective and the other, the ex.

For Nazia, this was an opportunity not just to catch Agent V but also to interrogate and break Alisha, and prove once and for all that she is the superior Detective.

Nazia sat down on the chair opposite Alisha with a table in between. Alisha remained calm and had an annoying smirk on her face while maintaining her eye contact. Her confidence and nonchalant body language unnerved Detective Nazia a little.

"So Alisha...you quit your job 3 years ago and then just disappeared from the face of the Earth? What have you been up to?" Nazia began her questioning.

"Oh you know... I thought to make better use of my time than in the rotten and useless police department...so I decided to set up my own boutique store...I knit and design clothes now." beamed Alisha.

Nazia was not convinced but instead of following up on the questioning, she got distracted by Alisha's dig at the police department.

"What do you mean rotten and useless police department? You think we are rotten and useless?" Nazia stood up, losing her composure for a second.

"Well going by changes I see in you, I'm afraid so yes" came the reply from Alisha with a smirk. Despite being the one brought in for questioning, she was most unperturbed while it was the Lead Detective Nazia who was getting all worked up.

"What changes?" came the response from Nazia, sounding less intelligent than she would have liked.

Alisha looked Nazia up and down and then remarked gleefully,

"Well as I said earlier, you've put on some weight...so it's clear you've been spending most of your time since becoming Detective sitting at a desk having too many muffins and pizza instead of being out on the streets solving crime."

Alisha was now easily manipulating Nazia and enjoying getting a rise out of her. Nazia was absolutely infuriated with that response. That was the second time Alisha had made a jibe about her weight, not to mention the annoying smirk on her face as if to say she owned the show and Nazia was nothing in front of her.

The jibe had exactly the intended reaction. Nazia was ticked off and unnerved and instead of sitting calmly and asking questions, she had been totally distracted from her line of questioning. Instead she decided to charge towards Alisha, in an attempt to intimidate her. What happened next was something she could never have anticipated.

As Nazia approached Alisha on her side of the table, Alisha in a swift motion went for Nazia's waist region, where her holster was attacked to her belt and grabbed her gun. Before Nazia could react, Alisha had pried the gun out and placed it right under Nazia's chin.

Nazia's eyes were now raised in shock and fear.

So Alisha had in a matter of seconds, taken charge of the situation right from under Detective Nazia's nose.
