Intercepted!

You ride slowly along the road to the encampment, lost in thought as the castle disappears on the horizon and you start heading down a smaller trail that cuts through the forest. As you look up at the tall dark trees your new "friend" Rollo teases, "I remember you... you know... the last time you were in command... all high and mighty... now look at you..." Seeing that you are ignoring him, Rollo smiles and continues, "I figured I should wait for Silva tell you this... but I guess you should know that your position won't be much of a command..."

Looking over at him in anger you reply, "What?! You said I was going to command an army..."

His men chuckling, Rollo replies, "Like hell you are... you're going to fall under your cousin Silva... of course you will be the busy one while he rakes in all the glory..."

"You bastards! This isn't a game! There is too much at stake here for that little shit to have his fun!" You shout out as you shove him, causing him to draw his sword in anger.

"Look here you little shit! Lay a hand on me again and I'll..."

"You'll what? Kill me...? Doubtful... certainly a little errand boy like you would upset Silva if you didn't follow his orders..."

Pointing at you, Rollo seethes with anger, "Don't push it boy... or I'll... AAGGHHHH!!!!!"

Rollo's men suddenly start shouting in fear as a bolt flies through the air... striking Rollo in the chest. You stare at the wound as he clutches the bolt in pain and falls from his horse.

You draw your sword, and looking at the forest you see dozens of horsemen charging out at you, bolts fly and swords meet as they clash in bitter combat with your guards. While outnumbered, you see an opportunity to escape.

As Rollo's men fight for their lives, you make a break for the trail entrance.... but just as you are about to get free you are suddenly thrown from your horse. You struggle to stand as a hooded man rides up behind you and kicks you in the head with his boot... everything going dark.

You jerk awake as you feel cold water splashing against you. Finding yourself tied to a chair, you struggle at your bonds as you are blinded by a piece of linen and you can only groan into the gag covering your mouth. You suddenly hear a heavy door opening and several footsteps enter.

You feel the guard beside you tug the gag off your mouth and you shout angrily, "Do you know who I UGGHHH!?"

"Shut up you...!" the guard says angrily as he jams a club into your side. You are silent as you hear him step forward and say respectfully, "As requested my lady..."

Upset at being treated like a common criminal you shout, "Who the hell are you!?"

You feel a chill run down your spine as a familiar young woman's voice replies wickedly, "Mmmm think hard on that one John.... I think you are smart enough to figure that out without my help...."

Looking up, you reply softly....
