I select "Intellect" and aim the remote at Sophia from under the table and press the “minus”- button.

At first, there is not much of a reaction as she keeps parsing the book in front of her with her eyes… But as I keep the button pressed, soon she starts to fidget around, and an expression of confusion and distress spreads across her face!

Finally, she looks up from the book and asks me for help: "Hey… erm… I seem to have trouble with this… passage. Could you explain it to me?"

"Sure!", I chuckle and have a look at the paragraph she points to. It is a rather simple one, and something like that would have never been a problem for her original intellect. It was working!

Generously, I explain the contents to her in detail, and she thanks me... though, judging from her facial expression, she did not understand squat from what I just said.
