Inside a limo and outside are flashing lights

The sudden feeling of lying down to standing up, rustles you, not to mention being no longer naked but dressed in a stylish tuxedo.

“How do I look?”

You look towards the voice of your girlfriend sitting on the other side of the limo, and your jaw drops, she sits in one of the sexiest classy blue dresses you have ever seen, on the side of it is a slit showing off her leg and it tailored in such a way to show the most amount of cleavage possible without being anything but elegant and classy.

She snort laughs and says: “I guess by your caveman drooling, that I look fucking Good.”

She grabs a stylish purse, sporting her designer logo, which compliments her outfit, opens the car door next to her and gets bathed in repeated flashes of light as she steps outside.

Having her get out of the limo and your field of vision, makes you realize your situation, first that your tongue feels back to normal again and you really want to stare some more at you girlfriend, so you walk towards the open door and step outside. You get temporarily blinded by the sea of flashing lights, flashing over and over again, all pointed at Jane who seems to love the attention.

When your eye’s adjust, you realize you are standing outside a giant movie theater venue, before you is a giant red carpet and you notice a huge sign on the building that reads “World premier: Fatal Retribution II” underneath in smaller letters are the actors in the movie, the first billings are some pretty recognizable names and slightly further down the list is Abigale’s.

It’s her first movie and you and Jane are here to support her, but judging by how Jane seems to lap up the attention, she might be here for more than just being a supportive friend. The camera go crazy for her as she smiles and waves, as she walks the huge red carpet towards a glamorous entrance, striking poses for the cameras, while you awkwardly walk a bit behind her, trying to stay out of the camera shots which are clearly meant for Jane.

Jane stops, striking a few more poses and you manage to catch up to her, but she hands you her purse and goes back posing again for the cameras for a brief minute. Then she gets waved further down the line by a woman holding a microphone, standing next to a man holding a camera with a good light on top of it, you vaguely remember this woman and you think she’s some kind entertainment news interviewer.

Your girlfriend walks over to her and they greet like they are old friends, but it feels pretty fake, then she says something to Jane, who gives a brief nod and the interview seems to start, while you stand back a bit, feeling slightly awkward holding her designer purse.

Jane starts talking during the interview, and she’s such a natural at it now, yet you hear that she’s giving nonsensical answers but in such a natural and professional manner. As she listens to a question from the other woman, she slowly starts blowing up gum, as it pops, you suddenly get a pleasurable chill go down your spine. You don’t remember her having any gum, she probably just conjured some up, Jane gives you a quick glance, smirks and gives you a playful wink then goes back to giving the interview woman all the attention.

“Yes of course, me and Abigale are good friends and I just had to see her movie debut, I always told her she had such acting chops, I gave her some really good pointers about what to do.”

You just roll your eye’s at Jane statement, which the interviewer laps up, but get a slight jolt when you hear another pop of Jane’s bubblegum which she gives a few good chews, giving you a weird pleasurable tingle and a strange sense of dejavu.

The interview ends after just a few brief minutes and you notice the cameraman shut off the light on top of the camera, indicating that the interview is over, but also makes you realize that you and Jane are probably the last ones to arrive. You walk towards Jane and hand her her purse, causing the interviewing woman to give you a curious look and say to Jane: “It’s so important to have a good assistant, mine is just dreadful.”

Jane pauses, smiles at her and says: “Oh him, oh no, he’s my boyfriend.” then grabs your arm and you both walk quickly inside, as you do, you quickly look over your shoulder and notice that the camera light is on again and pointed in your direction, while the interview woman looks a bit shocked as the doors close behind you.

You arrive in the movie theater lobby, which is empty of people expect for employees, one of them points out a door to the theater where you can hear a mild booming sounds inside. You walk with Jane but you both stop in front a cardboard cutout advertisement for Abigale’s first movie, front and center are the main woman and man leads, standing proud in character, with other characters in smaller sizes, but you notice that Abigale’s is quite prominent, and it’s clear she’s being used to draw people to the movie, and by the look of it she looks like a scientist type.

Jane looks the cardboard cutout over and says: “Ugh, so lame, this won’t do at all, she shouldn’t be an extra for her first movie, she’s so good, she should be the main star, looking all bad ass with huge guns or something like that, I should fix that.”

Jane is about to raise her arm, but you squeeze her hand and gently say: “Or we can just be here and support our friend.”

Jane stares at you for a second and then gives you that “Fine” look, grumbles and you walk hand in hand into the theater room. As you enter the darkness you notice that the movie has started and is well on it’s way, you lean over to Jane and say: “I thought we weren’t going to be late?”

Jane just smiles in return, raises her hand and does a twirl and suddenly the movie seems to rewind, but not just the movie the people next you, that you can make out in the darkness also seem to be going in reverse, taking popcorn out of their mouths and putting into their bags, looks a bit gross, Jane seemingly rewinds the room until suddenly the lights go on and you notice at the front Abigale and her co actors hold some kind of speech in reverse.

Jane then stops and lets the flow of time to start going normally again, at the front room the crew of the movie is introducing it briefly, as you and Jane walk down, past the row of seats, Abigale spots you, gives you a brief smile and a wave. You walk to your seats and Jane gives them one look then says out loud: “This wont do at all!” and snaps her fingers, causing her and your seats to morph into large golden luxurious ones, but you squeeze her hand again, causing her to groan and change them back to normal.

Further down the line you notice Anna and Lisa and sitting with them are various people which you recognize as Jane’s former servants, most of them ignore you, seemingly having all their attention on their new mistresses, but June give you a quick glance, sticks her tongue at you then goes back to giving Lisa, her mistress all her attention.

You and Jane sit down and you say to her: “Seems like everyone is on their best behavior tonight.”

“Well none of them would dare to mess with Abigale’s special evening, I even chipped in a little to make it so she gets all the attention, seeing as it’s her premier.”

“I am so impressed and proud of you Jane” you say in a teasing manner, causing her to give you a “Ha ha very funny” look, then the lights darken and the movie starts (again).

You get into the movie pretty quickly and it’s a kind of brainy action movie, the stars do a good job of showing brain and brawn as they navigate a conspiracy. About twenty minutes into the movie Abigale’s character appears, which causes the room to cheer and clap, which dies down, she is as you suspected playing a kind of supporting nerdy scientist type and does a really good performance. But you are having a hard time buying her character, because despite the costume departments best attempts to make her frumpy with large glasses, she looks like a bombshell, outshining both her female and male costars in the looks department.

The movie goes on until suddenly it pauses for a special intermission, you and Jane stand up and leave the room for the lobby, which as a feast of food and drinks and an area where the stars seemingly mingle with reporters.

You decide to go to the bar to get a drink, especially now that it’s free, while Jane goes and greets Anna, Lisa and their groups.

You struggle for a few minutes to get the bartender attention as she’s quite busy with the crowd of people, and she seems to accidentally pass you over. You lean on the bar to get her attention but hear a low whistle and hear a familiar voice as you lean on the bar: “Hey there handsome.”
