Info about your homeworld, Mandalore

Mandalore... A planet that has a long history. Currently, the planet is mostly deserted, only a few cities are populated. They are protected by great domes and have huge skyscrapers inside, just like the capital city of Sundari.

The planet used to be inhabited by a people, who knew only war. They have destroyed the planet's surface with their constant centuries long civil wars. Their armour made of beskar, could deflect any blaster fire, but not a lightsaber. They were equipped with countless weapons (rockets, grenades, flamethrowers, etc.) and jetpacks, making them able to fly easily.

They were ready to conquer the entire galaxy some 4000 years ago. That was called the Mandalorian Wars, only the Republic and the Jedi together could stop them.

It was Revan who defeated the Mandalorians and took away the symbol of unity, the helmet of Mandalore (the leader of all Mandalorians). Only somebody who possesses it and the darksaber (a black lightsaber) can unite all the clans. Revan had given the helmet to Canderous Ordo (a long dead ancestor of Lana Ordo), whom he deemed worthy of having it. Ever since his ****, the location of the helmet is a mystery and nobody has managed to find it.

Now only the darksaber remains as a symbol of Mandalorian unity. With the helmet gone, the power of the Mandalorians was broken, but their martial tradition remains to this day. Their clans have been infighting for centuries if not millenniums now... Recently, a new faction has risen to power, one that vowed to avoid **** and break with the past. That faction rules the planet now, its leader, Duchess Satine from Clan Kryze is the ruler of Mandalore. A radical pacifist who forbids any kind of **** on her planet, enforcing it with the local police forces if necessary. She has a long history with Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi, who spent years protecting the duchess when both were young and she was the target of the other clans. She does not possess the darksaber, which leads many clans to deem her rule illegitimate. She does all she can to keep Mandalore neutral in the currently ongoing galactic war between the republic and the separatists, as the planet has been neutral in all sorts of conflicts for centuries now.

Many clans have fled to the nearby moons and planets, who do not wish to give up their warrior past. One of these groups is called **** Watch. It aims to retake Mandalore by deposing the current duchess, Satine, by committing terrorist attacks, assassinations, and similar acts.
