Indeed they did

John's eyes immediately shoot open, quickly looking at Kyuala and Lani, trying to figure out a way out of this predicament. However, they just look back, also stumped as to how to answer.

John then sighs, his eyes lessening from their formerly shocked stare into a gaze of submission as he says, "It's time we told her".

Kyuala and Lani look at him, scared expressions on their faces, but they don't disagree with him.

John stands up and walks over to Kyuala's bed where Amilia is currently sitting. He then takes a seat before taking Amilia's hand, which the cat is confused by, but she allows it for the moment.

John then takes a deep breath before saying, "Amilia, what i'm about to tell you is known only by three other people".

"Uhh... actually four" Lani interjects, drawing a look of confusion from the others as she explains, "The Seer knows, but she promised not to tell anyone".

John sighs once again, "Okay, I'll deal with that later, but for now" John then turns his gaze back toward Amilia as he continues from where he left off, "Now, i'm putting a lot of trust in you here, so I hope you don't make me regret it".

John rakes another breath before saying, "I'm not actually a demon-kissed or a half-marked, or whatever you wish to call me, see, i'm actually, a human".

Amilia raises an eyebrow, looking at John with an unconvinced expression. A few seconds later, she lets out a snort followed by laugh behind it, taking her hand away to place it over her mouth, covering said laugh.

After a few moments, she takes the hand away before saying, "Okay, okay, that was a good one. you got me. I'm amazed you three managed to get through it without

laughing".

Amilia then looks between Lani and Kyuala, but their looks of worry don't change a bit. That's when worry begins to building within herself as she looks back toward John, "Wait, you're serious?".
