Indeed There Is

John went to answer the devil but he couldn’t open his mouth for some reason.

“I said SHUT UP nod if you want the power I offer!” The Reality Devil Shouted

John knew this simply couldn’t be a yes or no question. He had too many questions John **** as much as he could to open his mouth even as he felt the skin of his lips tearing apart. “SHARE I WILL SHARE MY BODY I WON’T JUST GIVE IT TO YOU!” John managed to shout back.

John watched as the mouth of the Reality Devil turned into an evil grin. “Then a Fiend we shall become but be careful what you wish for!” The Reality Devil laughed hysterically then John found himself awake. The Reality Devil wasn’t before him anymore now just the Mosquito Devil who was still sucking the blood from his body. However John no longer felt it draining. Then suddenly a voice rang in his head “You better stop him soon you are letting my blood go to waste.” The voice was eerily similar to John’s own but he could tell it was likely the Reality Devil.

Snapping back to reality again John grabbed the Mosquito Devil’s syringe mouth and said one word.

“DIE!”

The Mosquito Devil suddenly exploded sending blood all over the room including some which landed in John’s mouth. The hole in John’s body slowly began to heal. John felt horrible pain still but found he couldn’t shout in pain.

John thought to himself “Why can’t I shout in pain why can’t I speak”

A similar ringing voice responded this again was the Reality Devil. “I’ll only let you speak when I decide our voice is needed. Seeing as my power emanates through our voice I figured I would save you the trouble of messing things up. Think of it as a kind gesture of course I have no limitations though I’m not much of a talker. More of a thinker and before you ask about the injuries we’ll survive so no need to waste the breath.”

John just held onto his stomach and hoped help would arrive soon.
