Indecision with a small touch of shy.

You know how some people have a hang-up about certain parts of themselves that they imagine other people do when really it's they themselves who have the biggest problem with it?

Well, Elizabeth felt that way about her hips. Since she'd been hit as hard by the puberty stick as Stephanie in most every area except physical height, she wasn't so self-conscious about her breasts. But her hips just bugged the hell out of her. From what I could tell, it was because it made it near impossible for her to find underwear that wouldn't dig into her as if it were a thong unless it was granny panties. Which explained her ensemble.

Elizabeth had come with a burgundy red top that did nothing to hide the weight or shape of her breasts, save for small quarter circles that could be called cups if I was feeling absurdly generous. And though this contrasted with the Hawaiian patterned board shorts she was wearing in order to cover the ass and hips she felt so self-conscious about, I thought it did more to show off just how close to a feminine ideal her hips were that she managed to make even that look halfway tempting. I could only imagine how blessed the lucky bastard who did manage to catch her eye would feel when she gave herself to him.

In the present, however, she was occupied with filling a glass of water in the sink.

Smiling to myself and feeling mischievous, I snuck up behind her with a silence that came from living with slightly creaky top and bottom stairs and stood less than an inch from her back for a few seconds.

Then I remarked, as casually as you please: “Plenty of water outside.”

She let out a cute little shriek, her arm jerking as she spun around as the water in the cup splashed her and me in the process as she accidentally backed into the sink.
