Incoming complications

I found her in some kind of science lab, I vaguely remember the plans in the blueprints of the sub so I wasn't that surprised but seeing it in person reminded me that I wasn't very smart all things considered.

She had an egg in front of her, suspended in a sealed tube. "What are you doing there?"

She did not look surprised that I was there. "Oh, I figured you would want to get little fish pregnant so I am seeing what I can do."

She hadn't looked towards me. But really, she was supposed to be the smart one. With a hand I placed it atop the tablet she was staring at. "Stop, that we can't do that."

She looked up then confused. "What do you mean? Don't you want to?"

Of course I did. Pulling the tablet from her hands. "Remember our modifications? The one that makes us stronger and overly horny?"

She nodded still not understanding. "It's genetic. If we were naturally compatible it would be fine." I started to see the understanding in her gaze so I stopped.

She finished it for me. "So, it would have the government after us if we did this. Genetic modification and all that." She made a face. "Yeah I don't want them ending up like the sex bunnies." Everyone knew of the rabbit race... All of them turned into actual sex bunnies. The tablet was yanked from my hand. "Best I just delete any idea of this project."

With a nod I sat down. "It's alright. You were probably just caught up in the moment."

She chuckled nervously. "Well, I was more thinking about how all the males are going to show up to find all the girls already bloated full of your cum." Then she laughed out loud causing me to chuckle as well.

The idea of that didn't really occur to me, but now that I thought about it. It really was ridiculous.

"I don't know if I want to go back." I spoke before I thought better of it.

She hesitated but agreed with me. "I understand, once the initial survival was over with we settled in quite easily. Plentiful food water... Excellent company." She added the last part with a teasing elbow that caused us to laugh again.

"But we can't stay, they need to develop on their own for a while. We can take little fish and her mother with us, from what I hear they were outcasts anyways. Or well little fish was and her mother became one after... well you know." I nodded very aware of what she was talking about.

"What do you say we make a child then." I offered with a suggestive grin. She smirked back leaning in mischievously her eyes roaming my body as if just noticing I was naked.

"That's not your decision to make. And I don't think I'll let you know, I'll just surprise you once I decide on it." We were closer now, she had unzipped the loose jumpsuit and we had leaned in close just about to kiss and move onto more intimate things when we got interrupted by some clinking of metal.

It was a sound I had not really heard before, almost like the time when I was battling the kraken and it kicked up dirt and stones from the seafloor. The stones had made this near exact sound off the hull.

Except these were alone, like stones bouncing off the metal without the accompanying cloud of dust one would expect. Kasey looked at me as I was looking very confused. "What's wrong?"

The only conclusion I could come up with was that someone was throwing rocks at us. "I think we're under attack?" But underwater? Rocks wouldn't throw very far. With no alarm it was hard to be sure what exactly was going on, it could just be some rocks that had gotten kicked up by some nearby monster fish... Whatever it was it wasn't actually damaging us.
