Incoming Wave...

The redhead, Chae Wu grunted softly at another harsh stop of the bus. Her scarlet hair fell around her face in a mess and she blew a few strands away in annoyance. She was actually a medical resident, interning under a well known surgeon. It didn't pay very well, but it was the only way to move up in the world of medicine.

"No I'm fine, thank you."

She muttered quickly, gripping the railing where she sat herself. Her green eyes caught the anomaly everyone was currently staring at. It left mouths agape and eyes wide. However, as they were staring at the ongoing eclipse in action, Chae's green orbs shifted over to the looming shadow of darkness rising in front of the ongoing traffic. It kept rising and rising, growing taller than even some of the buildings.

"Tsunami!"

The shrill pitched voice of a middle aged woman screamed through the bus, making everyone go on high alert and begin scrambling out of the bus. The bus was virtually empty now as the wave swelled even bigger. They had less than a minute before that monstrosity made landfall.

"We can't outrun it.... fools..."

Chae cursed under her breath. She immediately began her fast swimming breathing techniques, trying to get her lungs to expand further. She'd have to hold her breath until the initial slamming wave hit. Whilst doing this, her shaking hands buckled her into the old rickety bus buckles and secured her to the best of its ability. She then turned her intense jaded gaze toward the only person left onboard the bus with her.

"I'd buckle in if I were you."

Chae said sharply to the white haired woman still standing in shock beside her.
