Where to start?

In the locker room.

John supposed that only a house which saw the rate of visitors this one did would have showers and a locker room next to the gym.
His stepmother had insisted they be installed along with what amounted to a full gym of equipment when she married his father, "so the trainers don't need to drive home sweaty or use our showers". Privately, John thought she might have a fetish for sex in locker rooms, maybe from her years as a cheerleader? Whatever the reason, it was soundproof, had cushioned changing benches, and wall-mounted hoses combined with good drainage, which were used at least weekly whenever one of his step relatives decided to fuck one of the trainers after a workout.
Sometimes they all stayed in there for hours, he could only imagine what went on.

John tried to think of unsexy things so his boner didn't show through his exercise shorts. His stepmother was liable to claim he was attracted to the trainers again, which usually made them exercise him harder. His stepmother's trainer choices were universally hetero, and usually had some limited bigotry against homosexuality.
His mother didn't want any of them fucking each other, she required all they could offer.

Dressing quickly (his mother wouldn't risk seeing him naked), John had a few minutes to write down...

Careful rules, he didn't want to suddenly make himself the hulk. Someone might notice, even if rules could cover for it.

"This way, maybe I'll finally get some benefit from this bullshit at least...long term."
The pain from a slightly strained shoulder after yesterday's "training time" faded away.

"Excellent!", he thought...and headed for the gym.
