In the library

Alice sighed as she sat in the library alone with her books as she read the latest assignment from Mrs Wilson’s English class. They were reading Hamlet and analyzing it. Alice wanted to make sure that she was thorough with her studies especially if she wanted to get into her top choice of school, Monroe University. “To be or not to be…” Alice read once more.

She had made so many annotations that the pen was starting to bleed onto the other sides of the page. Little tabs were sticking out right and left and up and down.

She still added some more notes nonetheless. She was so caught up in her notes that she didn’t even notice someone entering the library despite it being so quiet.
