In the Pokemon World

Ash Ketchum was on his way back to Kanto after another League loss. Cynthia was tough, even after all his journeys to different regions, with all the Pokemon he had obtained, he still couldn't beat her.

At least Cynthia was nice enough to give Ash a ride on her private jet. He was enjoying a fresh cup of iced water and leaned back in his seat. It was then that something caught his eye.

It looked like a safe, and Ash could see it was open ever so slightly. Ash opened the door and saw a small blue stone. Ash couldn't resist and grabbed it, and he knew that it was called a Wishing Stone and could grant any wish he wanted.

"Enjoying your flight, Ash?" Cynthia asked as she went to where he was. "O hope you- what are you doing?!"

She ran over to him. "I thought I locked that safe. Ash, that stone is dangerous, you shouldn't have it."

"Why?" Ash asked. "It's just a rock."

"That rock almost destroyed the multiverse," Cynthia said. "Just give it back and I'll-"

A bright light flashed, and Ash disappeared from his seat.

"Crap," Cynthia said. If Ash escaped with that stone...

She pulled out a device the angel Vados had given her. She was gonna need backup.

Ash, meanwhile, was brought into a strange world. He had only wished to escape from Cynthia, and the stone had taken that literally and seemed to transport him to a different world entirely.

"Hey kid!" a voice called.
