What do I check first?
In the Plant Pot
I turn to the plant in the corner next to me, since it’s the closest, other than the pictures. I crouch down and look in the dirt and near the base of the plants, but don’t see anything. After a moment of inspection, I rise up and look through the leaves of the plants. As illogical as it is, I can’t overlook anything, even if it’s fucking stupid. I look the plants up and down an uncomfortable amount of times, before I move on to the next part of my room.
It feels like I’ve missed or forgotten something, like moving to the next area of a game without getting something that’s important, but that you can’t go back to get anymore. Regardless of that feeling, I start taking inventory of the next things I should check.
Alright. In my closet, on top of the shelves in there, and in the vases.

In a world where any famous person can own anyone else with practically a snap of their fingers, what fate awaits me? Or, for those into the inverse of that, some of the fictional universe paths have some… promising changes. Some universes, or options for them, alter to rules to give me the power.
