In the Cafeteria... however there's a wrench in the plan

Jaune made his way into the cafeteria, and he saw her. Pyrrha was sitting with Ruby, Blake, and Nora, all chatting.

To his surprise, Jaune had to steel himself for this. He took a deep breath, and started walking towards her.

"Why am I so nervous? I know she's gonna say yes. So why do I feel so uneasy about this?" he thought to himself. But before he could reach Pyrrha, something entered his vision, quickly sliding in front of him.

"Gwah!" he exclaimed as he leaped back. There before him was Neo, giggling to herself and waving cutely to him.

"Oh.. Neo. Damn, don't sneak up on me like that! At least say hi--- right... nevermind."

Neo giggled yet again, before doing a sort of cutesy lean in, looking him in the eye.

"Uh... so... did you need something?"

Neo nodded fervently, before making some gestures. First pointing to Jaune, then to herself, then... doing a sort of slow dance motion.

Was she... asking him to the dance?

Jaune felt time freeze, and he felt like his heart stopped with it. This was bad. This was VERY bad. He knew the other girls would understand. He knew they'd get it if he chose to go with Neo. She was a target after all. But at the same time... he kinda WANTED to go with Pyrrha. The problem is that he had laid so much ground work with Neo and Emerald, and turning Neo down here could have some pretty adverse effects on that plan, whereas going with her could make some pretty powerful strides towards incorporating her into the Harem. However, it could bring attention to Cinder and Ozpin if he DID go with her.

It was clear this was due to the crush he had sort of programmed into Neo - and she was just bold enough to approach him. He wasn't sure what to do. He was taking a pretty serious risk either way.

Risk Cinder and Ozpin finding out about him, or risk damaging what he was building in regards to Neo and Emerald joining him?
