Now where is it?
In my office, where I left it.
I ventured down the hall to my now empty office. My phone sat on the desk where I'd left it next to the still glowing screen of my laptop. It was a little bizarre to walk back into a room I didn’t remember leaving, making me feel like an intruder in my own space.
Suppressing an irrational shudder, I snatched up the phone, pressing my finger to the screen to unlock. Of course, nothing happened, My fingerprints not being my own. Facial recognition would be equally useless, so I was forced to enter my pin code.
"Shit!" I cursed, my mind going completely blank, "What's my fucking pin?"
I racked my brain, but I had been so long since I'd had to actually had to use it, I found I had no clue what it might be.
So, I did what I always did when I couldn't figure something out. I went to ask Tina for help.
