Where did it land in DC?
In an alley in Metropolis, while the Justice League is fighting nearby.
The lamp landed in what felt almost like an active warzone. Superpowered beings were going at it with each other. The lamp didn't really know the details, and didn't much care. It simply settled in to wait and let things die down, and fulfil its purpose, the entity being quite patient. Though it decided to be cautious in its approach. It had noted many beings around here that could give it trouble.
Eventually, the battle settled, allowing the victorious superheroes to start focusing on the aftermath, cleanup, and helping injured civilians. They milled about, doing their assigned duties.
