In a lab tied to table

Nightwing slowly opened his eyes. He was feeling the worst hangover he had ever experienced. His cheek that was cut burned like hell but at least the blood had stopped flowing out. He tried to move but he was unable to. He looked at his body and saw that he was well tied-up and could barely move. He tried to look around to see if something could come in handy to remove his restraint. Dick quickly scanned the place. He understood that he was in some kind of laboratory which one he didn't know. There wasn't any logo or brand anywhere. It was probably some kind of underground lab but it was well funded. The lab had all the latest tech and was pristine not a speck of dust could be seen anywhere. There was still a problem he was still tied up and could found nothing that could actually help him. The worst of it was that he was actually naked.

Suddenly, Dick Grayson was startled by the appearance of the Joker behind him.

"Well, I see the little bird is finally awake." Said the Joker laughing madly as usual.

"What am I doing here Joker. By now Oracle had passed the message to Batman and he is probably already on its way." Answered back Grayson sounding confident even in the situation he was in.

"Don't be so sure of that." Said the Joker pressing a button that lights up a television screen. In the screen, Dick could see Barbara Gordon in the same situation he was in. Like him, she was strapped to a table but at least she wasn't naked and retained a bit of her modesty.

"You see now your dear Oracle didn't send Batman the signal. He didn't even know you're missing. The last thing he knows is that you disobeyed him. Oh yes, Oracle had talked. Nothing like PTSD to loosen some lips" Giggled the Joker

"Really a lab Joker this doesn't fit your M.O." Spat Grayson fighting against his restraint.

"Oh you're right birdy but it fit his." Said the Joker pointing at the man walking in the room. He was a tall, bald, had a small beard and was wearing a lab coat.

"Strange I should have guessed, but really Joker you normally not a team player."

"Oh, I became one when you killed Harley." Said the mad clown in a chilling serious tone."

"Mister Grayson, I must thank this deranged persona without him I wouldn't be here today trying this new tech and experimenting on prime subjects."

"What tech and what do you want to do with me." Said Grayson feeling fear for one of the first time in his life.

"Simple my dear friend you are Harley replacement." Said Joker laughing madly.
