In a cell

When Aurelie came to, she found herself lying on blanket on a hard cement floor. A bright yellow light high on a wall showed bare concrete walls and a metal door. There were no windows.

She tried to sit up and found that her hands were cuffed behind her back, while other restraints held her elbows tight. She also discovered there was a metal collar around her neck with a chain attached to it, the chain leading to a heavy metal ring set near the centre of the floor.

She was still dressed, although one of her stockings had worked down her thigh and hung loosely. After some struggle Aurelie managed to get to her feet. She kicked her shoes off and hobbled about the cell, finding that the chain was long enough to let her reach every part of it.

The door appeared to be solid steel, the hinges not visible from this side. There was a metal grill at eye level, but the other side was blocked by another sheet of metal. There was a small drain in the centre of the cell and she noticed that the floor was very slightly angled towards it.

The only other feature in the room was the blanket she had woken up on .

Her heart began to beat faster with trepidation, trying to decide what to do while she wondered what her captors had in store for her.
