In a bandit infested town.

Following the convoy's little incident in the cursed forest, Rhea decided to order the drivers to stick to the paved roads and to avoid any unneeded detours or shortcuts in order to make the rest of the travel safe, even if it meant arriving at their destination a little late.

While this strategy worked for a while, as the convoy passed safely through the many towns and villages that littered the fodlan landscape, it eventually ran into throuble, as around midday, the convoy arrived a what seemed to be an empty village.

"huh, where are we ?, this place seems pretty barren", asked Catherine as she looked at the boarded-up shops, and delapidated shacks while the convoy passed through the desolate streets.

"According to recent records, it appears that this village got abandoned a few years back for unknown reasons", one of the knights driving the convoy answered.

"Well, i don't like the feel of this place, could we take a little detour for once ?", said Gilbert to Rhea feeling uncertainty, upon which, she ordered the knights to drive them out of this place.

Unfortunately for everyone, before the convoy could even leave the town, out of nowhere, it was suddenly surrounded in all sides by a large group of armed people weilding all kinds of weapons.

"Well, Well, Well, what've got 'ere ?", a large burly black-bearded man carrying a rusty sword.

"Let me guess, bandits ?", Shamir replied Sarcastically as she grabbed her bow.

"Hehehe, i guess you know the deal...., pay up or else!!", the bandit leader replied laughting as he tried to intimidate the group.

"Oh well, looks like we some work to do...", said Catherine branding her sword, for she wasn't in no mood to bend to the will of some no-name rats.
