Chapter 10 by AnriAstora AnriAstora

Where do you wake up?

In a Dream

I sat up in a field, in a valley of the brown hills behind me and a clear blue sea in front of me. And to the right of me was a small town of square shaped houses, with vineyards all around. It seems like some sort of holiday as a parade is going through town. I go and walk towards the town, and I could tell it was a dream, as no sounds could be heard of anything. But I can see the dancing and singing of the procession on the faces and movements. They seem to be carrying loaves of long bread, jars of red liquid and clear liquid, and...phalluses?

I am able to walk through the town at the end of the procession seems to be an amphitheater, where it seems a play was being set up. Some people are already sitting in the stands to watch. All wearing simple clothes. The people of the procession at the end seemed to make offerings with their bread, and pouring the wine into an oversized wooden chalice. It seemed to be overflowing with the amount of wine that has been put into it. Which the people seem to be happy about.

The scene changed to something more familiar, the space around me shifting, there was still a stage, but it was a band setting up this time, and tents were seen all the eye could see. It was a music festival. And everyone seemed to be drunk and happy. All in 70s clothes and long hippie haircut. Many can be seen smoking and laughing.

The whole world seemed to change, this time it was dark, I was in some kind of club, flashing lights, people dancing all around me. In colorful neon glowing clothes, many holding up long glow sticks and moving them to what I assume the beat of the song. All either drinking, or scene taking some pill on the edges of the club. Must be a rave. A couple spilled their drinks on the floor and laughed about it, others that saw raised their glass to the sight also laughing.

What Happens Now?
