In Shock

Morgan awoke with a gasp, she was not sure what had happened after Layla had asked her a question but for sure she wasn't in her office anymore. Looking around Morgan realized she was in the dungeons for some reason. Moving to a sitting postion Morgan realizes that her wrists and ankles ahd shackles on them connected by varrying lengths of chain; bringing her hands up to her neck Morgan was horrified to realize she had a prisoner collar on her neck!

Realizing that something must have happened Morgan attempted to use her magic to shatter her chackles and collar only to come to a horrifying realization that her magic didn't respond to her call. Looking her body over Morgan was stunned to realize that her skin had subtle runes painted on! While temporary it would mean that until they faded Morgan had no access to her magic!

The sound of footsteps drew her attention as she saw Ingrid walk down the steps towards her cell.

"Ingrid! Thank heavens you're here I think Layla has betrayed me! Get me out of these chains!" Morgan pleaded as she stood up and walked to the bars of her cell.

"Excuse me? I don't think we have met before?" Ingrid replied a confused look on her face.

"Ingrid!?!? It's me Morgan, your queen!" Morgan insisted.

"My queen? Yeah I don't think so, Have you seen our queen? You don't look like her at all. To that point if you really were our queen you'd be able to magic your way out easily." Ingrid pointed out with an affronted look on her face.

"What do you mean I don't look like myself? Look I have-" Morgan's words died in her mouth as she brought her hands up to her hair to show Ingrid. However instead of showing her silver hair itshowed blonde hair instead.

"Wait this is not my hair! Please Ingrid you have to believe me!" Morgan pleaded as she realized her appearance had been changed by Layla as well.

"Yeah I don't think so, I better report this to the real queen" Ingrid said as she walked away.

Morgan was not able to see the wide grin on Ingrid's face as she walked back up the dungeon steps.
