In Search of Magical Solutions

"So uh.. where are we going, exactly?"

"We've backed ourselves into a corner Jennifer. We need a miracle to get out of this." Replied Jamie.

"You mean magic, right?" Jennifer asked pensively.

"Yeah so um.. I'll be honest with you Jennifer. I'm in way over my head. When it comes to magic, I'm basically a newborn baby. I have no idea if anything we try will do any good, but I think I have an idea where to start."

"So that means we have to go back to your place?" Questioned a nervous looking Jennifer.

"Unfortunately, yes. I think I can get us back through these woods. I've always had a sense for direction. Although our feet are gonna be pretty beat up by the time we get there." Answered Jamie.

"What about your parents? We can't let them see me! And how are you gonna explain the car?"

"They don't need to know I'm there, at least not yet. I'll sneak through the broken window, grab what I need, then meet you back outside. We'll be like a couple of witches, brewing potions in the forest." Said Jamie, clearly trying to lighten the mood.

"A couple of nudist witches" quipped Jessica. "This is so risky Jamie! Running through the neighborhood naked? If anyone sees.."

"It's the only choice we have. We've made it this far." Jamie interrupted.

Jessica stayed quiet after that, content to surrender to Jamie's confidence. She distracted herself by soaking in Jamie's perfect nude body from behind. Love changes your perceptions, and the love they shared made the female form in front of her appear more attractive than anything she'd known. How much things had changed in just a day.

The two made their long march back, sticking to the wooded areas as much as possible. Sometimes they would have to make a mad sprint to cross an intersecting road or break in the treeline. But with the darkness on their side and many of the town's residents retired for the day, the two lovers pushed forward without much issue.

Tired and beaten up, they finally arrived on the outskirts of Jamie's neighborhood. She would need to run for it under the cover of darkness to make it the rest of the way.

"Shouldn't I come with you? In case you need help?" Asked Jessica.

"I'll move faster on my own, no offense. And if I get caught by my parents it'll be a lot easier to explain things if they think I took you home already." Answered Jamie.

"Fine, just be safe. And give me a kiss before you go."

Jamie smiled and leaned into Jessica's lips, wrapping one arm around her back and placing one hand behind her head. They shared this lip-locked moment for some time before Jamie pulled back, giving one last peck on Jessica's forehead, and then bolting into the open air of the quiet suburb.
