"Where am I?!" Kenya's mind slowly begins to clear. Still naked, the captured Star Fleet officer lies on what looks like a transporter disc, with another disc above her head. Its construction is one Kenya has never seen before and the discs are enclosed by a glass tube, trapping her inside. Pounding on the glass only makes a faint "thud" sound, the material is clearly unbreakable by someone of her strength.

"Greetings again, Lieutenant Nyarai." Kazash stands in front of the tube, which is in some sort of engineering room. Numerous large machines are wired into the discs and to a control panel behind the the slaver lord. "The best thing about time travel is it leaves no trace." The Ferengi lectures as he walks behind the control panel. "Whether taking the mortally wounded from the past to be healed and sold at my auction house, or . . ." Kazash turns on the machine, causing the discs to ominously power up with a strange hum. "Having one's enemies simply disappear."

"You mean to kill me, slaver?" Kenya stands and steels herself for the worse.

"Normally, I would send a spy like yourself back to when this planet was being formed, but that will not be your fate, Lieutenant Nyarai. You're defiance, will, and your beauty, have impressed me. So I am going to send you into a past where you might survive for a few years."

"What do you mean?!"

"Well, we're still enemies, lieutenant, and where and when I send you will be most unpleasant. You might even come to wish that I had simply beamed you into the primordial lava." The Ferengi pulls a lever down on the control panel causing rays of energy to go between the two discs. "Goodbye, Lieutenant Nyarai, we will not meet again."

"Wait!" Kenya pounds on the glass as the energy consumes her, "You can't . . ."
