Imps

Imps are frankly a race I normally would not put in this section most fit more with monsters then races however for demons in many cases an imp can evolve into practically any demon and some imps become very powerful themselves now imps the non monster ones are generally summoned specifically ritual summoned they as a rule are normally the weakest thing you can summon this way but not always ritual summoning of this type is usually used to grant desires or wishes imps generally are limited in what they can do and will try to cheat you through contracts, contracts are used for any deals with demons summoned this way and is where they get you imps are both particularly both limited and vicious in this manner you must be very clear in a demon contract of a few things:

first and foremost that the contract is in a language you understand and that there's no invisible or micro text you can't see as well as make sure nothing can be added later without your consent so no blank space

second what your asking for has to be Crystal clear as well as have detailed for how it's obtained ask for money without saying how it's obtained?it probably came from a bank vault and you will be finding yourself in the slammer in short order don't specify that the money has a legel documented source?same thing

third price has to be Crystal clear if it's a soul?who's soul?how many?when is it due?who chooses the soul?under what circumstances does the demon or imp in this have to complete before payment and how are you sure you are getting what you paid for and it will last?is what you get what you actually asked for? And

lastly contract language no demon at least without valid reason which generally for demons is something up front or a cut of some sort will think of the spirit of the contract imps are especially notorious for this even with reason many will fuck with you just to do so so make the language plain but clear and ask how the imp would interpret the language section by section then at the end?put in a clause that it can't deviate from what you just talked about and for the love of God(or yourself) make sure that's what you actually want besides this and evolution?imps are useless pretty much small not much to look at and near impossible to be around for any extended time period

As for abilities,affinities, and how an imp charecters would work?I won't cover that since practically every imp evolves into something else relatively quickly and imps are in general also quite ugly so the chances someone would want to use a standard imp race as a character without either evolving into something else or making a unique variant of imp that's workable is slim to none in my view
