"Well, not exactly, no... I want something different, maybe a bit dark without going to far. And I don't want anything overly sexual or vulgar, that not who I am." Lauren explained while browsing through the merchandise.

"Oh, there is plenty of that going around now days." said the woman in a disapproving tone. "In our shop we care about authenticity. Oh, but every costume has it's own story to go with, should a customer decide to give it a chance." she said full of pride in her work.

"That's nice to hear." said Lauren, giving the woman a polite smile.

"I think you'll have a good chance finding what you are looking for in the 3rd row in the back. Well now, I believe I should let you browse our selection." the woman said, while still smirking at Lauren.

"Okay," the woman said, "If you find something you like don't hesitate to try the fitting room out back."

"All costumes are one size fits all," the man yelled from his chair, "Even if they don't look like it."

"And all sales are final, dear" she finished.

They went back to playing chess as Lauren went to examine the suggested aisle.
