Ilfesh

"What kind of people are the Ilfesh."

"They are herd creatures. Most of them are very docile, but the alpha male is strong and aggressive." She shudders, "A hunting party from another tribe ran into an alpha male once. Twenty seven went out. Only six returned."

"Where do they live?"

"Mostly on the plains to the south, though small herds have been known to venture further north."

"How big do they get?"

"The females and most males are around middle point between you and me." That would put them at around five feet, four inches. "The alpha males can stand as much as a head taller than you." You hope you never run into one of them them unarmed.

"How does a male become the alpha."

She pauses, "I'm not entirely sure, I just know that it involves ritual combat."
