Ice cream and Lies

A bell rings as Shannon walks through the food court. She registers that the bell means it's 12 o'clock. At this time of day, Shannon expected a lot of people eating in the court. But something felt off. There seemed to be more people buzzing around than a typical lunch rush.

"Must be the 'Breeding Passes', sex is hungry work," Shannon says to herself.

Smelling the food, Shannon's own stomach begins to growl. Deciding to grab a quick ice cream, she steps into a line to order.

While waiting in line, Shannon reflects on the increasing number of people eating. Upon closer inspection of the crowds, she identifies that most are women. She also discovers that many of the ladies were making noticeably large orders.

"Hmm, that is interesting" Shannon whispers to herself.

After reaching the counter Shannon is excited to see the Daily Special is 'Ice Cream Sundae with Pickles'. After paying and a short wait, Shannon is walking back through the crowds with her snack.

"Okay got the food taken care of," Shannon mumbles between bites.

"Now, I should call everyone into work," Shannon says as she pulls out her phone.

Before she can read it, a large man in his early twenties stops in Shannon's path. He pulls out a 'Breeding Pass' from his college hoodie. Shannon watches as he hands out the pass to her. She looks up and catches his eyes. Pausing for a moment she smiles.

"Thanks for trying. It's nice to know I attract your attention. But Sorry man, I am already taken, you can only Breed women who are not already pregnant". Shannon explains before walking around him.

Not giving the man another thought, She continues on her way through the halls. Looking through her iPhone notes she reviews her employees and the list of potential mothers.

Rebecca (Store Owner) - White 35-year-old pencil skirt Brunette -- Pretty businesswoman the definition of a Cougar -- Status: Not Pregnant (Milf Material)

Brinda (Store Clerk) -- Cute Indian Girl -- Loves to Sing and Dance in the store -- Status: Not Pregnant (Bet she will enjoy belly dancing with a baby bump)

Ellin (Store Clerk) - Shy Asian -- Dollface, soft-spoken, and very thin -- Status: Not Pregnant (She could use a friend and a sandwich)

Katie (Store Clerk) - Ginger Gym Rat -- Nice muscles, big talker, gay as fuck -- Status: Not Pregnant (Luke might just make this lesbian into a bisexual)

Holly (Inventory Clerk) - Grey Haired 45-year-old teacher -- Pale skin, loves cleaning and sharing pictures of her cats -- Status: Not Pregnant

"Okay, I know Ellin and Holly are scheduled to work at 1 o'clock. I need to text them that we will have food in the breakroom".

Taking a minute to text message each of the women, she gets quick replies confirming their intentions to come in early for lunch.

"Great, now just for Rebecca, Brinda, and Katie," Shannon says before finishing off her ice cream sundae and throwing her waste into the bin.

Thinking of her prey, she decides to fool the easy marks first.

Ring! Ring! ... Ring! Ring! ... Ring!

"Hello, Shannon everything alright?" Brinda askes

"Hi Brinda, I am afraid I got food poisoning from breakfast this morning ... don't eat old hard-boiled eggs. I am not up to running the store today. Can you come in? I can pay you double time?" Shannon askes in a quiet tone.

"Aw sorry to hear that, Sure I can come in. It's summer break, I wasn't doing much anyway." Brinda says cheerfully

"That's great, please clock in by 1:00 PM. Oh... P.S. if you want lunch there is going to be food in the breakroom. Feel free to come in early, both Ellin and Holly will be coming in for lunch before their shifts.

"Sounds great, I am on a budget and could use a free meal. Hope you feel better soon." Brinda says before hanging up.

"1 down, 2 to go," Shannon sighs as she finishes descending the stairs.

Ring! Ring! ... Ring! Ring! ... Ring! Ring! ... Ring Ring! ... Ring!

"Hello, who's there?"

"Katie this is Shannon from Rebecca's," Shannon answers cheerfully

"Oh hey boss, sorry I didn't answer right away. I was just working out and left my phone on the treadmill." Katie says before taking an audible sip from a water bottle.

"That's okay, can you come into work today by one? I am throwing a small party for Brinda. I am promoting her to the assistant store manager. She is about to graduate college and is a hard worker. I would like you to be there at the celebration " Shannon says

Katie goes quiet for a moment, thinking of Brinda. She always had the hots for Brinda and her sexy dancing. Katie blushes as she is reminded of Brinda practicing her belly dancing in the store.

"Sure that sounds awesome, but wait ... isn't that Luke's job?" Katie askes

"No Luke is the Inventory Manager, he helps Rebecca the store owner order the shipments. He also helps manage the back storage room with Holly." Shannon explains

"Right ... well great ... I will be there at one" Katie says

"Katie, make sure to not talk to Brinda about the surprise, I told her she will be running the store today because I got food poisoning. Also come in early if you want lunch, there will be catering." Shannon says in a rush.

"Even better, I will shower and be right over," Katie says cheerfully.

Hanging up the phone, Shannon considers her next call.

"Okay, no lying to Rebecca, She is too smart, she can see through my bull shit, Just stick to the facts" Shannon mumbles to herself.

Ring! Ring! ... Ring! Ring! ... Ring!

"Shannon! How are you? What can I do for you?" Rebecca askes

"Rebecca, I am calling about an emergency. There are 'Breeding Passes' being handed out in the Sunny Day Mall. Cards allow men to ask for sex from anyone not already pregnant. I need you to come into the store quick." Shannon says in a panic.

"What! ... You can't be serious," Rebecca says in disbelief.

Taking a picture of the 'Breeding Pass' she got from Olivia, Shannon sends a text message image of the 'Breeding Pass' to Rebecca.

"I sent you a picture, something is going on. I just saw a couple fucking in one of the dressing rooms. You need to come in, That Dumb mall Cop is asking all these questions." Shannon says pleadingly.

"I am on my way," Rebecca says before hanging up.

Taking a long sigh, Shannon stops walking and smiles in victory.

"Luke, I need you to have a lot of sperm because you will need to fuck 5 ladies in quick succession". Shannon whispers to herself
