Ice Cream Celebration

Outside, the twins took a moment to compose themselves.

"Anywhere in particular that you want to take me?" Julia inquired, her voice sounding just like Johanna's. A twinge of Ash remained, but that would likely go away pretty soon given time.

"I was thinking an ice cream parlor. How does that sound to you?" Johanna inquired and watched Julia give a refined and mature nod. Holding hands the whole way, it felt quite good.

"I think I'll let you choose for me. Then next time, I'll know what to get." Julia answered as she swore she caught a nod from her sister. Even if she somehow hadn't, it was the thought that counted.

Entering the ice cream parlor, the twins found themselves to be the only customers in there. While it did feel early, the parlor had been open for a couple hours at least.

"What will be?" the person at the counter announced, Johanna taking a moment to look into the glass display. Scanning the options for just a second, her gaze came upon one in particular.

"We'll both have an Arcanine Stripes in a waffle cone. Single scoop." Johanna answered and turned to Julia. Getting a nod, the twins gaze turned back to the person scooping the ice cream. Setting a single scoop of orange ice cream with black licorice within, it reminded them of an Arcanine. Getting handed their treats right after, they headed to a nearby booth and sat down.

"What's left for me?" Julia remarked and took a lick of her ice cream. Johanna did the same, looking away for just a moment. Julia was now just like her in both body and mind. What was really left to do for her before letting her out into the great wide world? Documentation. Not only would she need to get the proper documents, Julia would also need her own coordinator pass among many other things. But that was all easy enough to get her hands on. Just took a bit of time.

"Not much, sis." Johanna answered and got to work on her ice cream.
