Taking a moment to think Daddy's question over, only one place came to mind. The perfect capstone for everything that had occurred so far.

"Ice cream!" you announce and watch a smile form on Daddy's face. Feeling him pull you in for a hug, you accept it with all your hearts.

Feeling Daddy let go, you focus on the pop-up. Part of you was confused how you somehow not unlocked a level-up, but you let that thought fade in favor of reading this skill's description.

Hugging: Your ability to give hugs and provide affection to the people you care about.

Clicking the text box away, you reach out to Daddy's hand. Getting led along, you actually felt like a princess here. A pair of princesses, to be exact. The ice cream parlor wasn't that far away, after all.

"Anything in particular you want to have, my princess?" Daddy inquired and you look away. You honestly hadn't thought that far ahead.

"A princess special?" you answer and get a nod from Daddy. Phew. That actually was something that you could get. Part of you would've been mad if it hadn't, but you let the thought fade as the Ice Cream Parlor came into view. Picking up your pace ever so slightly, you and Daddy make quick time over and enter.

Inside, the place looks like it was ripped straight out of the 50s. Not that you mind. Had it's charm, especially for a little girl like you.

"Two Princess specials." Daddy explained to the man at the counter. Getting a nod, he took the time to pay. Grabbing your hand, you find yourself getting led over to a booth. Taking a seat in the most refined way that a little girl could manage, you felt quite proud of yourself here.

"Thank you, daddy." you cooed and watched your father's face turn pink. Looking away, you just catch a nod as he muttered something to himself. For now, your attention was on the table. Tapping about, you let little girl thoughts flood your head. You're so enthralled by this, you don't even notice your Princess Special arrive. Two scoops of strawberry ice cream with a bunch of pink syrup piled on, the man at the counter even put some cherries on top. Daddy hands you a spoon and you dig in. Chocked full of sugar, you can feel your energy rising. There were so many little girl things that you wanted to do now. But those all would need to wait until you get home. Scarfing down the last bite, your attention turned to your father. Taking it at a more gingerly pace, there was something princessly to him. But you keep that comment to yourself as Daddy finished his Princess Special. In that short time, you think of anywhere else you might want to go. The possibilities were there, but home was sounding nice right now.
