IR Day 16 - Give her the answer

You take a breath, then pick up your headset.

“Karin,” you say. “It’s Sharon Stone. Basic Instinct. No panties.”

With some satisfaction, you watch Karin’s face redden. And then, in her broken English, she stumbles through giving the correct answer.

You sit back, enjoying how long it takes for Karin to regain her composure as the other teams struggle to answer questions. Not all of them have an easy time. It’s obvious that there are a few ‘experts’ like you scattered throughout FUTA, but not every team has one. Other teams are eliminated as the game goes on. Your in-depth knowledge of nudity in films carries Yellow Team to the finals, such as they are. It’s you and Blue Team. You suspect that it’s Beth or Adella who knows so much about lewd scenes, but that doesn’t matter because fate smiles.

“In the 1998 hit, Wild Things, what actress’ panties did the star, Matt Dillon, famously pocket in the film’s notorious threesome scene?” Moxxi asks with a flourish that makes her generous cleavage jiggle.

“Oh boy,” Azu says worriedly, seeing the look on Karin’s face. “Anyone? Syd?”

“The fuck should I know?” Syd mutters.

You yawn and lean over. “Denise Richards,” you murmur to her.

Syd gives you a look. “Really?”

You nod.

“Um… OK. Denise Richards,” Syd says nervously into the mic.

Karin repeats that in her halting English and the crowd goes wild.

Syd and Azu both shake you excitedly. “How do you know this stuff?” Syd asks, laughing.

“Just lucky, I guess,” you say.

The questions go around again. Easy ones for cable TV shows. Whose breasts were amazing on True Detective? Who gets naked most often on Shameless? Easy. Impressively, Pink Team nails a tough one: which popular action anime film brought the most graphic sex scenes to the United States before 1993?”

Someone on your team mentions Ninja Scroll, but nope… the answer is Wicked City. You suspect that Aki is responsible for that answer. You’re lucky that one didn’t come to you, or you’d have gone with Ninja Scroll.

And the questions have circled back to you again.

“What hot, sapphic film directly preceded cinema’s greatest virtual reality action hit in the late nineties?” Lulu asks excitedly.

Of course, Karin looks lost.

You frown. This is a tough one. That’s a bit vague, but there must be some clue in the question itself… hmm. You probably know the answer, it’s just not coming to mind.
