IC Day 7 - Time to play

At first you are annoyed! The Pink Team's uniforms are way cuter than yours!

But you have to play.

Adella tears it up from the start and scores a goal! But then Lara and Riley charge down the field and distract everyone to let Aki score one for their team... it's 1-1.

You are not a bad defender, you just feel... outclassed by Riona and Julieta. Riona is so brave, and Julieta is so fast and skilled... but you do your best. Aki gets the ball again, and you go out and foil her plans, forcing her to pass to Lara, who shoots and misses.

It's a tough game! Lara and Riley are relentless. Without Beth and Duni to harass them, they would be scoring all over the place...

After an exhausting struggle, the game ends in a tie, 3-3. Everyone is so tired... you especially, because you are not as fit as most of these girls.

After the game, Adella and Riley get interviewed by the announcers on camera. Some of the girls go to watch, so you do too. You notice the... weird way that Riley and Adella look at each other. They are both very gracious and say nice things about each other during the interview. They praise their own teams and say their opponents played hard.

They are really cool...

"I could have done nothing without Beth and Duni," Adella is saying. "Their support is essential. And Olga, in the second quarter, was magnificent."

You look over at Olga, who looks modest. Well... you have noticed it too. On any other team, Olga would be the star. It's just that Adella is so good that she overshadows even really good players.

But Olga seems relaxed. She smiles at you.

The interview wraps up, and you all shower and put on comfortable clothes. Motoko promised no more cameras this evening, so you can relax a bit... As you follow the other girls out toward the dining hall to eat, Olga catches up with you.

"Ingrid," she says.

"Yes?" She's a bit taller than you... you smile up at her.

"Do you want to leave here? Have dinner somewhere else?" she asks.

Wait a minute... she's asking you on a date! Wow... You have never been asked on a date by a girl before. What do you say?
