I think we all need an answer to something firstly

The duo walked towards the Sheriff office while taking glimpses of how Gold Springs had changed. With the occasional bandit fleeing from Carolina’s presence. They kept going till Randal brought up a question I’m sure we’re all wondering.

“..Soo um..Carole. You why we’re again?” The ferret asked his wife, who dated quite most of the time.

“..Don’t remember when I quit as sheriff. But..I grew worried for Texas. Sure she had me to mentor her but she still had that attitude of hers with outlaws. It doesn’t help with what I’ve been hearing on newspapers or other folks.”

“Yea..she’s made a name for herself. But those stories don’t seem to be made up. Telling how she’s..humiliated by vermin, being so tired with work. Even almost being flattened to a pancake.” The ferret mumbled to himself upset.

“And that’s exactly why we’re here..I know she may not like the idea but..I just can’t stand to see my girl come to such an end. I wouldn’t live myself either..that’s why we’re here.” Carolina explained as she went over the downsides to being a sheriff with Texas’ size in this town. “She may not be..on board with it but..I need her to come home with us. I know it may seem selfish but..it’s better then being at risk out here.”

So THATS the reason the duo are here, they’re here to bring Texas to quit her job and bring her back home where she’ll happily be safe. But will Tex even agree to this proposal? Sure it’s hard to be sheriff but having an easy break is a BIG yes. But perhaps her stubbornness won’t allow it..

The two were finally face to face with the sheriff office post, infront of the door.

“Well..this is the place.” Carolina confirmed “Heh..just how I remembered it to be.”

“You sure you want me to stick out hon..? I could..try and reason with-“

“No..I’m alright dear. This is my own problem. I’ll be fine..” Carolina reassured as she lifted her hand gently and
