What happens next?
I lose the towel
Before I could take three more steps, the girl who had tossed me the cloth planted herself square in the middle of the hallway, cutting off my path. She had one hand extended and an expression of impatience and sheer boredom on her face.
"Alright, that's enough of the fashion show, rookie," she said, her eyes blatantly mocking the way my breasts fought to escape the ridiculous scrap of fabric. "My class starts in two minutes and I'm not going in with soaking wet hair. Give me my towel back. Now."
The air froze in my throat. The panic already pounding violently in my temples mutated into a total mental short-circuit. Instead of refusing or pleading, my brain—completely collapsed from the morning's non-stop humiliation and overridden by a blind instinct of submission—simply obeyed.
I let go of the edges of the cloth. My hands opened automatically, handing the blue rectangle over to its owner like someone offering an unconditional surrender.
The fabric peeled away from my skin with a faint, damp snap. A collective gasp echoed through the room as the final barrier between my body and the world vanished completely.
I was left brutally exposed beneath the unforgiving fluorescent ceiling light. The cold air of the locker room hit my goosebump-covered skin head-on, accentuating the heaviness of my breasts, which rose and fell in a frantic, wild rhythm. Water droplets falling from my purple hair slid down my collarbones, crossed the valley between my breasts, and trickled down my stomach to the curve of my hips, tracing lines that held every single gaze captive. I was exposed in the rawest, most absolute way possible, completely laid bare before the eyes of a dozen strangers.
The stunned silence lasted barely a second before shattering to pieces. A sharp, cruel burst of laughter echoed from the back of the room.
"Whoa! Looks like you love being watched, you little slut!" one of the girls shouted, sparking a wave of laughter and venomous whispers that rained down on me like stones.
In that exact instant, something inside me snapped. Shame gave way to a surge of pure adrenaline. Without thinking, without covering myself, driven solely by the primal instinct of a cornered animal, I bolted. My bare feet splashed frantically against the wet tiles, the cold air sliced against my exposed chest, and the weight of my own body bounced in a desperate dash toward the emergency exit door at the end of the hallway.
The locker room was a death trap, and my dignity lay ruined in the trash beside my pink thong. I threw my shoulder against the door's panic bar and burst through the threshold.v
