I join Krauss in waiting outside

What else can I do but wait in eager anticipating? Jittery with excitement, Krauss and I both scampered out of the room, then closed the door behind us. Krauss was wearing a big grin; he held up one fist towards me in a flex, an expression of solidarity. Grinning just as widely, I grabbed his hand and locked arms as though we were arm-wrestling. I'd been wrong to imagine having fun without him, hadn't I? He had just as much right to see his wife in a bunny-girl suit as I did. Ah... I love Ushiromiya Krauss!

Smiling like goons, we both waited outside the house, rocking back and forth on our feet excitedly. Minutes passed... then more... soon, before we realized it, half an hour was gone. I felt my own stomach fall as I imagined the worst. What time was it? Could murders already be beginning? Could fate really be so cruel as to **** Natsuhi while she donned a bunny-girl costume and ears for her husband and my amusement?

As it turned out, no. My Pink Trigger had worked, but my brain had flopped when it counted. As soon as we walked out the door, she'd locked the room behind her!

"Natsuhi! Open the door...! We need validation on this new business concept!" Krauss insisted, beating on the door with one fist.

"D-Dear! It looks just fine! You don't need to enter at all!" came her response quickly enough. "I'm dressing back out of it! I'm coming out!"

Somehow, I doubted my ordinary human strength was going to be enough to pound that door down. If it was, the Rokkenjima closed door murders would have been a lot less airtight. Sighing, I resolved to do better next time...

... And it would have to be next time. I'd wasted too much time waiting on Natsuhi and it was nearly bed time. Or, as I liked to call it.... dead time. I left Krauss beating on the door and Natsuhi arguing back in that cute way of hers while I went to my room to die.
