I guess a couple of days will be fine

"Alright"

"YEEAAAH!!" Katia hugged Sarah as soon as I said that word, and Brenda joined the hug as well.

"Wait, wait! Only for some days, alright?"

"Yes, sure, buddy!" Katia replied to me. She let the two girls for a moment and approached me. She shook my hand firmly, vigorously. I got the feeling she could crush my hand if she wanted. But she smiled at me. "I knew you were the best, like Sarah said!"

I was flattered. Sarah did tell them about me. About how she loved me. I was pleasantly surprised that her cousins liked me even before meeting me.

Katia let my hand go.

"Now, could you bring my suitcases in, please?"

"What?"

But she let me hanging, and went back to Sarah and Brenda.

"What are we doing tonight? Movie night? Dinner out? Dancing?"

"We're tired of unpacking..." Sarah explained "Maybe we can do that tomorrow."

"Nonsense! The best way to celebrate moving is partying!" Katia said loudly.

Suddenly, Brenda came closer to me.

"I'm sorry, Katia can be a bit... Messy. I'll help you with the luggage." She offered kindly.

"No, no" I had to be chivalrous, as Sarah probably described me like that. I like being a gentleman, why wouldn't I be it for her cousins as well? "I'll handle them, don't worry."

"Thank you, Liam." Brenda's smile was more honest than her twin's.

While I took the suitcases to the bedroom, the girls girls sat in the living room.

"We need to have fun!" Katia said. "I know of a club nearby! Let's go dance!"

"We could go to the movies" Brenda suggested.

"I'm sorry, but... I think Sarah would like to rest at our new home." I mentioned.

"Thank you, Liam! Yes. Maybe we can do both tomorrow, girls."

"Fine. Slumber party time it is!" Katia threw her arms in the air, defeated.

"I like the sound of that. What do you say, Liam?" Sarah asked me.

"Well... There are a couple of things left to unpack still. Maybe after we finish..."

"I'm sure Liam can handle it all!" Katia said, smirking.

"I can help" Brenda offered, raising a hand like a child, but once again I felt I had to take the gentleman's route.

"No, no, I'll do it. It's not much, don't worry."

"Yeah! I knew you were fun, man!" Katia laughed.

I felt a bit weird about being in a slumber party with only women, but they were already talking to me like old friends. I might as well do the same and treat them like family! I didn't quite like Katia's energy, though.

"Let's have some cousin talk, then! We have some things to catch up on! And we have to get changed! There ain't no slumber party without pajamas!" Katia basically commanded, and immediately grabbed Sarah's hand and started guiding her to our bedroom.

"Oh, uh... Yeah! Liam, thank you for this. You are the best, I love you!"

Those words got me beaming, they have me determination. Yes. I had to be the best for her. What's a little good time with some relatives, if I'll have all the time in the world with the love of my life afterwards?

"Yes. Y-you're the best." Brenda repeated shyly, before going behind the other two.

I heard them locking the bedroom door. Of course, they didn't want the only guy to peek in. Although I would never do that, of course. I could hear them laughing and murmuring. The closed door was enough to muffle their words, so I didn't understand what they were saying.

There was something just a little off about those girls... but they seemed like good people. Yeah, Katia had the energy of a spoiled brat, and Brenda was much calmer. I think I already have a favorite one.

I had to admit them saying Sarah had been speaking well about me made me proud. That might've helped to convince me. Normally people are **** to express their love when family is present. I sighed and continued emptying boxes and arranging our living room.
