Feeling that everything was alright, I told Harry and Emma that I was going home. Casey said that she'll stay for now and I nodded. I left the restaurant and headed towards home. On my way there, I felt a little hungry so I stopped at a local diner for some food.
As I was in the diner eating, I saw an expensive looking car drive by. It was a 2015 Corvette Stingray. I knew that because one of my buddy had it back in California. It was one hot looking car and some people outside took notice of it. They stared as the car drove down the road.
After finishing my meal, I continued my walk back home. I saw it in the distance but stopped when I saw an unfamiliar car in the driveway. It's the car I saw in the diner. I picked up my pace and went inside the house.
When I opened the door, I saw my parents talking to a well dressed man. He was obviously wealthy because of the name brand suit he is wearing plus the car in the driveway. My parents seemed to have a lively conversation with him because they were laughing at whatever the guy was saying. My dad caught me watching out of the corner of his eye.
"There he is!" my dad exclaimed.
The man turned around and faced me. My stomach did a little jump as I recognized the guy. I have seen his faces in photos and conferences before.
"Hey Jake. I have never seen you in person before but it is great to finally meet you." he said as he held out his hand for me to shake.
"Nice to meet you Robert." I replied as I shook his hand.
